Camp Curriculum
We believe that horses are an incredible tool for building confidence, knowledge AND horsemanship skills. The following topics will be covered during the 5 Day camp. The Weekend camp and 1 Day camps will touch briefly on most topics, but will concentrate on riding skills, communication skills and basic horse knowledge. Each camp evolves a little differently depending on the skill level of the campers and their interests. Each camper will be given a binder with information in it about camp topics and other topics of interest that they can pursue on their own. Campers are always encouraged to bring ideas that they want to explore. We still enjoy learning about horses, too.

The following list is a list of topics for camp. We try to cover as many topics as time allows for each camp. Safety around horses and the proper care of horses always come first.
